Rhodamine and functionalised azobenzene condensed fluorescent turn on novel receptor for the selective and sensitive detection of Hg 2+ : a combined experimental and theoretical study

Azo-linked rhodamine based novel fluorescent–colorimetric chemosensor L for the detection of Hg 2+ has been reported. The receptor L operates in wide range of pH and can be applied for the formation of INHIBIT type logic gate and real sample analysis.
