The property of contact problem of bearings is discussed and the calculating method of contact stress of deep groove ball bearing is analyzed in this paper.The 3Dfinite element model of deep groove ball bearing was set up according to APDL language embedded in ANSYS.Contact stress of inner and outer ring was obtained through the management of con-tact boundary conditions.Furthermore,the computational values are consistent with Hertz values.The results show that the model and boundary condition are correct and rational.Which have provided a guide for the design and optimization of rolling bearing.
