Advances in Vanillin Synthesis and Its Development Prospects

Aim To study the synthetic methods and its advances of vanillin. Methods According to the synthetic situation of vanillin recently, main synthetic process are both narrated and appraised.Results Guaiacol process, lignin process are relatively matured technological routes, \%p\% cresol process is being perfected. Conclusion Guaiacol process is dominant and \%p\% cresol process is prospective.
