Design and synthesis of an efficient nanoporous adsorbent for Hg 2+ and Pb 2+ ions in water

An efficient nanoporous adsorbent for Hg 2+ and Pb 2+ ions in water has been rationally synthesized from the interaction of aqueous NaH 2 C 3 N 3 S 3 and Na 3 C 3 N 3 S 3 solutions. This adsorbent exhibits excellent adsorption capacity and selectivity as well as superior recyclability.
