Research progress of the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of mycophenolic acid

Mycophenolic acid( MPA) is the reversible and noncompetitive inhibitor of inosine monophosphate dehydrogenase( IMPDH). It is widely used to prevent rejection after organ transplantation and treat autoimmune diseases,as an immunosuppressive agent. This article reviews the pharmacokinetics( PK),pharmacodynamics( PD) and PK / PD correlation studies of MPA recently published.
