Metallurgical Quality Control of High-Strength Aluminum Alloy Rod

The metallurgical quality of aluminium alloys usually refers to the internal quality of continuous casting rod of aluminum alloy,including internal control and distribution uniformity of content of alloying elements,grain structure,control of the impurity of the melt,including hydrogen content and non-metallic inclusions,Aluminum alloy casting metallurgical quality directly affects the quality of subsequent processing product. This paper is aimed at the casting characteristics of Al-Mg-Si series high strength aluminum alloy rod,focusing on the causes for metallurgical defects in the manufacturing process and control methods of Al-Mg-Si series alloy rod.
