Synthesis of new tricyclic cephalosporins from cephalosporin 3′-triphenylphosphorane

Cephalosporin 3′-triphenylphosphorane reacted with α-halogeno ketones to give new tricyclic cephalosporins; their aminothiazole oximino derivatives showed a significant activity against gramnegative bacteria.
