The clinical value of magnetic resonance imaging in diagnosis of spinal metastatic tumor

Objective To study the clinical value of magnetic resonance imaging in diagnosis of spinal metastatic tumor. Methods The magnetic resonance imaging data of patients with spinal metastatic tumor were analyzed,who was confirmed spinal metastatic tumor by operation,pathology or follow-up in hospital from 2008 to 2013. Results There were totally 35 patients with a total of infringing on 68 vertebral bodies,including 7 in cervical,32 in thoracic vertebrae,20 in lumbar,9 in sacral. 7 cases were violation of single vertebra,and 61 cases were multiple vertebral violated. Conclusion There is important significance of magnetic resonance imaging in the diagnosis of spinal metastatic tumor.
