The Influence of Tariff Reducing Policy to Import in our Country

Since January 1st,2006,China continues its responsibility to reduce its import tariff and cancel more than one hundred kinds of tariffs. There are many effects which the tariff reduction brings to Chinese import. The results show that there is a highly opposite relationship between tariff reduction and Chinese import. And tariff reduction plays an important role among many factors affecting the imports,but not the single one. Also,there is a close relationship between tariff reduction and import structure,and the tariff rate has a direct impact on the import. But reduction range doesn't always have the same rate with the import and import structure due to other reasons. Obviously,we need other policies to affect our import structure.
