Numerical simulation on stress of projectile materials under high overload

The projectile is endured complicated loads in process of launching, and the numerical analytical resolutions can not be calculated from these loads.As usual,the numerical simulation is used to simulate the process of projectile launching, and all kinds of loads in process of launching are simulated by the numerical simulation.The loads in process of launching are simplified as axial load, radial load and annulus load.The muzzle velocity of numerical simulation is consistent with the actual testing velocity.So the stress value in parts of projectile is concluded by the numerical simulation every time.The strength of projectile parts is verified according as the mechanical property of materials.These can provide theory references for the choosing materials in design of projectile.
