Technological Study on Ni-P Alloy Electroless Plating on Magnesium Alloys

Ni-P alloy electroless plating on magnesium alloy AZ31D was studied.The process was optimized.The main influencing factors,such as bath pH,plating temperature,the main salt,the sodium hypophosphite,the citric acid,were discussed.The plating pieces were analyzed by metallographic microscope.The results indicate that the coating is uniform and dense and its corrosion resistance is better.
