Inspiration from the immunosuppression section of KDIGO clinical practice guideline for the care of kidney transplant recipients

Kidney Disease:Improving Global Outcomes (KDIGO) clinical practice guideline for the care of kidney transplant recipients is the first guideline based on clinical evidences in kidney transplant field. It takes into account the differences between developing and developed countries. Therefore,we believe that it could be a good reference for Chinese clinicians to manage our patients. In the article,we recommended to pay more attention to the data collection and management from our kidney transplant clinical practices,to emphasize on reasonable and individual use of immunosuppressive drugs to improve the cost effect ratio and to reduce the costs to the patients,and to value the use of renal allograft biopsy to improve diagnosis of rejection.
