On effect of tumor microenvironment on tumor immunity

Pathophysiological factors exist within solid tumors that lead to a low pH,low oxygen and low nutrition microenvironment,which make many malignancies relatively resistant to chemotherapy and radiotherapy.Because the state markedly influences the cytokine and immune cells killing the tumor cells,many researches have focused on the low therapeutic response in tumor microenvironment.However,data on the tumor tissue microenvironment reducing the effect of the cytokine,immune cells and monoclonal antibody are scarce.In the present article we review the formation of tumor microenvironment,the tumor immunity,the character of tumor inter-extraceccular milieu,and the effect of tumor microenvironment on tumor immunity.Futhermore,we attempt to improve the microenvironment condition to enhance the therapy.
