Preparation and properties of hydrophilic pressure sensitive adhesives used in transdermal drug delivery system

Hydrophilic pressure sensitive adhesives (PSAs) were prepared by mixing PVP ,PVA and glycerol. The effect of the materials composite on the properties of PSAs had been studied. Also the drug control release behavior of the obtained PSAs was investigated. The results show that the prepared hydrophilic PSAs have excellent characters, which are suitable for applying in the transdermal drug delivery system.
