Effects of Different Substrate on the Fermentation Parameters in XuHuai White goat in Vitro

Rumen liquid got from four XuHuai White goats fitted with the ruminal cannulae was fermented to determine the effects of four different substrates(Roughage/Concentrate: 10∶0、 8∶2、 6∶4、(4∶6)) on the pH,volatile fatty acids(VFA) concentration in culture fluid in vitro.The results showed that with the increase of R/C,the fermentation in vitro increased.When the R/C was 8∶2 and 6∶4,the fermentation showed the highest level,and the control group was always at the lowest level.
