A novel hydrometallurgical process for chalcocite concentrates

Basis on the charaters of chalcocite with high copper and low sulphur,the detail experiments was conducted for chalcocite concentrates from Brazil.A new hydrometallurgical technology has been developed to produce copper cathode by the combination processes of atmosphere leaching and pressure leaching.The total copper leaching rate is more than 99% and extraction rate is more than 98%.
