Do we need to prioritise interstitial lung disease clinical diagnoses? A comment on the 2025 interstitial pneumonia statement

We commend Ryerson et al. [1] and the assembled multinational expert panel for the recently published “Update of the international multidisciplinary classification of the interstitial pneumonias: an ERS/ATS statement”. The classification represents a major global collaborative effort in the refinement and standardisation of interstitial lung disease (ILD) taxonomy.
