The paper presents a computer vision-based posture analysis system for senior strength training, using a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B and a Raspberry Pi 8MP Camera Module V2.1 to capture and process visual data in real-time. The system uses advanced machine learning algorithms, and the Media Pipe Pose framework to accurately detect body landmarks and calculate joint angles, providing personalized feedback during exercise routines. The research aims to create a self-guided gym learning system that promotes safe and effective workouts for seniors, addressing unique challenges in maintaining physical fitness. The system incorporates pose estimation technology, rep and set counting logic, and obstacle avoidance features for a comprehensive and safe exercise experience. This innovative solution empowers seniors to engage in self-guided strength training, addressing common barriers to exercise participation.
