摘要
Micro/nanofluidics have been demonstrated as exciting avenues for efficient capture and in situ analysis of tumor cells, which is of great importance for early tumor diagnosis, staging and treatment monitoring. Among various analytical methods, the electrochemistry has advantages of high sensitivity, easy integration, and low cost. In this review, we systematically summarize the recent advances in micro/nanofluidic-electrochemical biosensors for in situ tumor cell analysis, including circulating tumor cells, biomarkers on tumor cells and biomarkers secreted by tumor cells. Perspectives associated with micro/nanofluidic-based electrochemical in situ analysis of tumor cells are then discussed. • The importance and necessity for in situ tumor analysis are introduced. • The advantages of micro/nanofluidic platform integrated with electrochemical techniques are outlined. • The recent advances in micro/nanofluidic-electrochemical biosensors for in situ tumor cell analysis, including circulating tumor cells, biomarkers on tumor cells and biomarkers secreted by tumor cells are systematically summarized. • Perspectives associated with micro/nanofluidic-based electrochemical in situ analysis of tumor cells are discussed.
