“Free-oxygen”: A promising functional unit for strengthening electron-phonon coupling effect

Multiphonon coupling has been demonstrated to an effective strategy to extended lasing wavelengths. The ‘free-oxygen’ motif is a good functional unit for strengthening such interaction between active ions and their surrounding lattices.
