LotusScript and LotusScript Extensions

"LotusScript is a BASIC compatible embedded scripting language with object-oriented extension. LotusScript first appeared in Lotus Improv, which was a Lotus' spreadsheet product, released in 1992 for Windows. Gradually, more Lotus products were shipped with LotusScript, including Lotus Forms and Lotus Notes ViP" [Rich97]. The actual LotusScript version that is used in Lotus Notes 4.5 is its Release 3.
