摘要
Age related macular degeneration(AMD)is the leading cause of irreversible vision impairment among elderly in the developed world.To date, a host of research has been conducted to identify different biomarkers to predict disease incidence, elucidate the pathogenesis, screen and identify at risk individuals, predict disease prognosis and guide personalized treatment.Carboxyethylpyrrole(CEP), advanced glycation end products(AGE), and soluble FMS-like tyrosine kinase-1(sFlt-1)as new potential biomarkers for AMD have been focused.
