Objectives to review the operative characteristics and clinical experence during perioperative period of elderly patients with coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). Method 943 cases of the patients were divided into 187 cases of group A (age≥70 years old) and 756 cases of group B (age70 years old) according to their age, and the surgical skill of Coronary artery bypass grafting and perioperative treatments were analysed retrospectively. Results NO obvious difference between group A and group B was observed, but the rates of postoperative complications of guoup A was higher than that of group B, the time of ventilator supporting, in intensive care unit and in-hospital in group A were longer than these in group B. Conclusion It's feasible to be operated for elderly patients without mortality increasing, however, it's very important to treat during the perioperative period accurately , especially in treating the complications.
