Preparation of Low Melting Paraffin Wax Using Slack Wax From 4rd Side Cut of Atmospheric Column

The low melting point paraffin wax was prepared using slack wax from 4rd side cut of atmospheric column.The results showed that,the No.46 ang No.48 low melting paraffin waxes could be prepared from the slack wax through sweating or solvent deoiling.The product yields were from 25.2% to 62.3%.The low melting poing paraffin wax was suitable feedstock for manufacturing chlorparaffin.
