The technical molybdenum oxides produced by multihearth roaster,rotating furnace and etc.from oxygenation roast molybdenum concentrates contain high MoO_2,high harmful impurities with low recovery of molybdenum and low contents SO_2 in smoke gas.It is estimated that in the foreseable future,POX process would be used to produce technical molybdenum oxides and ammonium molybdates from low grade molybdenum concentrates containing high Re.
