Investigation on Fatty Liver Disease and Its Related Factors of Faculty Members in Chongqing University

Objectives To investigate the prevalence of fatty liver disease(FLD)and its risk factors of university faculty members.Methods The 2013physical examination of faculty members in Chongqing University and data from epidemiological survey were statistically analyzed for FLD and the related factors.Results The overall prevalence of FLD was 25.58%.The prevalence of FLD with dyslipidemia was 20.39%,the prevalence of FLD with pathoglycemia was 11.56%and the prevalence of FLD with obesity was 21.04%.The prevalence of alcoholic fatty liver disease was 2.21%.Conclusion The university faculty members have high prevalence of fatty liver disease and should take precautions against fatty liver disease.
