Advanced Use of the Boiler Designer Software for Creating Digital Twins of Complex Thermal Power Plant Equipment under Steady-State and Transient Conditions

Power engineering equipment is characterized by high complexity and a large amount of metal in its design. Therefore, errors in its design and calculations must be minimized, and ideally eliminated. This is facilitated by using specialized engineering software, one of which is Boiler Designer. The software is fully localized, which is critically important for Russia. The paper discusses the results of applying the software to various tasks and objects, outlines its benefits, and presents recommendations to users. Based on this, conclusions are drawn about the merits of the software.
