We read the article by Felix et al.1 with interest. The authors conclude that prothrombotic factors in hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT), especially after embolization, may have led to thrombus formation and paradoxical embolism through nonembolized pulmonary arteriovenous malformations (PAVM).
