The periodically corrugated surface effect on the dispersion relation of surface plasmon polaritons

In order to understand the effect of semi-infinite metal with periodically corrugated surface on the electronic collective excitation,the surface plasmon modes on such surface are studied with the hydrodynamic model.The dispersion relation in this case is compared with the one of plane interface to study the effect of periodical structure on dispersion relation.
