Impact design of foundation for offshore wind turbines

Based on the analysis of the possible risk from ship impact on wind turbine,this paper presents the computation method of probability for the risk,based on which,a method for determining the impact criteria is put forward by comparing the protection cost and the collision lost.Furthermore,preliminary idea on the foundation design is offered.These may serve as references for the offshore wind turbine foundation design
