Analysis on effectiveness of three different methods of internal fixation in treatment of tibial plateau fracture

Objective To explore the effectiveness of different internal fixation methods in treatment of tibial plateau fracture.Methods Ninety cases of tibial plateau fracture in this hospital during January 2005 to December 2010 were divided into 3 groups according to Schatzker's classification,they were accordingly chosen with pour L model T steel plate,Golf and LCP three different internal fixation method for treatment,and the therapeutic effects of these three internal fixation methods for treatment of tibial plateau fracture were observed.Results The excellent rate of LCP fixed group was better than that of other groups after follow-up observation for 0.5 to 2.0 years with an average of 1.3 years,and the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion The right way for treatment of tibial plateau fracture can be chosen according to the characteristics of fracture,thus it can improve the clinical efficacy of treatment and prognosis.
