摘要
The activity and ultrastructural localization of peroxidases were studied in wheat leaves with different degree of disease resistance to stripe rust by cytochemical method.In the leaves of both resistant and susceptible cultivars,the peroxidases were mainly localized in mesophyll cell wall and extracellular matrix in the intercellular space,and their activity were very low in uninoculated leaves.The peroxidases activity of both resistant and susceptible cultivars are increase after inoculation of Puccinia striiformis.The activity were higher in the resistant cultivars than in the susceptible one in the inoculated leaves.The results suggested that the degree of peroxidases activity is associated with wheat resistance to stripe rust,and it may be a biochemical marker of wheat against stripe rust.
