Generation of Nocl2Conditional Knockout Mice and the Method for Genotyping

Nocl2 plays an important role in the modulation of immune system.Bone marrow cells-restricted Nocl2 knockout mice provide a new model for further investigation of role of Nocl2 in the immunoregulation.In LysMcre mice,murine M lysozyme-regulated Cre recombinase is restrictedly expressed in monocytes/macrophages and neutrophils.In this study,the generation of Nocl2 conditional knockout mice is induced by using loxp transgenic mice crossed with LysMcre mice.Results show that we have established a novel technique to generate conditional knockout mice with Nocl2 gene specially targeted in myeloid cells and PCR-based approach for genotyping was presented as well.
