Clinically Applied Value of MRV for Diagnosing Parasagittal Meningioma

Objective:To investigate the clinically applied value of MR venography(MRV)for diagnosing parasagittal meningioma.Methods:Observing the degree of compression,erosion and obstruction to superior sagittal sinus from parasagittal meningioma by analyzing the images of MRV of 15 cases.The diagnosis of MRV was compared with the findings in operation.Results:6 cases of neoplasm adhering to the outer layer of venous sinus,5 cases eroding it,4 cases growing into and blocking it completely on the images of 15 cases.All these manifestations on the images were identical with the findings in operation.Conclusion:The images of MRV of parasagittal meningioma can reveal the relations between neoplasm and superior sagittal sinus accurately and provide detailed evidence for operation.
