摘要
With the intensive outfeed of large-capacity high voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission links, the grid pattern, operational paradigm, and stability characteristics of the sending-end grid have undergone profound changes. In this paper, an evaluation index system is proposed to evaluate the adaptability of expansion planning schemes of the sending-end power grid with multiple HVDC links. The constructed evaluation index system comprehensively takes into account four aspects: economic development, generation mix, system strength, as well as security and stability. According to given grid planning schemes, the realization process of the evaluation index system is proposed to assessment the adaptability of the multi-send HVDC power grid. Sichuan Grid, a large-scale provincial power system in China, is taken as an example to compare the evaluation results under different expansion planning schemes.
