Recent updates on azido‐reductive cyclization approaches: Syntheses of aza‐heterocyclic frameworks

The present review emphasizes the latest (2015–2021) reports for the application of azido-reductive cyclization towards the synthesis of aza-heterocycles. In addition, this single nitrogen-retentive intramolecular cyclization approach has provided efficient access to drug and natural products embedding such aza-heterocycles.
