CURRENT APPROACHES IN FIXED PROSTHESES ON ZIRCONIUM SUPPORT (Abstract): Zirconium oxide is a superior material in terms of biocompatibility with adjacent ti ssues, color similar to natural teeth, resistance to daily masticatory stress and abrasio n, chemical stability in high-quality restorations and last but not least translucency.The aim of the study is to individualize the therapeutic aspects of non-metallic zirconia restorations anchored in the register of contemporary non-metallic dentistry in accordance with the particularities of clinical cases and the requirements of the technological line addressed.A total of 34 zirconia-supported ceramic prosthetic restorations were made for the morpho -functional rehabilitation of various edentulous areas of the maxillary and mandibular arches.As far as the technological specifics of these types of restorations are concerned, Exocad software and MEDIT 300 scanner and Cerec CAD-CAM system were used.In dentistry, digitized technology is slowly but surely taking the place of traditional procedures.From diagnosis to the final tooth, any dental procedure performed digitally is more accurate, safer, and better to lerated by the body.
