The dependences of the strength properties of “pure” electrochemical iron and iron-alloy-based coatings on the parameters of their substructure characterized by the density of electrolytic iron are found. The region of their hardening due to substructural changes is shown to be limited and to correspond to the transition of a metal structure to the “ultimate deformation” state, which is characterized by the appearance of submicrocracks and a decrease in the strength properties of the formed coatings.
