Taxonomy of some potential wood‐staining fungi from New Zealand 1. Ophiostomataceae*

Abstract From native and introduced tree species growing in the North Island of New Zealand, a number of potential wood‐staining fungi were isolated and studied. Seven species of Ceratocystis , including Ceratocystis novae‐zelandiae sp. nov., one species of Ceratocystiopsis , and one species of Sphaeronaemella are described.
