패장초의 Triterpenoid 및 Coumarin 성분 ( 2 )

At the last annual meeting, the isolation of esculetin, oleanolic acid, hederagenin, oleanolic acid-3-α-L-arabinoside and a mixture of sterol glucosides from the roots of Patrinia scabiosaefolia(Valerianaceae) was reported. In the course of continuous work on this plant part, six compounds, oleanonic acid (I), mp 156∼8˚, hederagenin-3-α-L-arabinoside(II), mp 228∼31˚, its 2`-acetate(III), mp 226∼9˚, its 2`-α-L-rhamnoside(IV), mp 256∼8˚, oleanolic acid-3-α-L-rhamno (1→2)-α-Larabinoside (V), mp 201∼2˚ were isolated. Compound III was first isolated from the nature.
