Improving the chemical stability of blue heteroleptic iridium emitter FIrpic in the lowest triplet state through ancillary ligand modification: a theoretical perspective

(1) A good linear relationship was obtained among the energy barrier, S 0 → T 1 transition energy and bond strength. (2) Strategic modification of the ancillary ligand is an easy way to enhance the photochemical stability of FIrpic.
