EXAMINATION THE VELOCITY OF FENCING LUNGE

In fencing of the most frequent foot technique is fencing lunge. In foil fencing, in sabre fencing and in ep’ee fencing this is the technique to finish the most of attacks. In our examinations retested the track, time and velocity of the sportsmen' fencing lunge. The tested persons were male foil fencers. The number of sportsman was 10, their age was between 18 and 20 years. The next technical combinations were tested: - fencing lunge (single) - step forward - fencing lunge - step backward - fencing lunge - jump forward - fencing lunge - jump backward - fencing lunge We used in testing automatic measuring system MULTILAB 2.0, manufactured by SELSPOT AB (Sweden) and installed on an IBM 386 compatible computer. In evaluating results we searched relations between the kinematic parameters and the technical execution.
