摘要
The commercial application of all-inorganic perovskite (CsPbX3) nanocrystals (NCs) in displays is mainly limited by low-yield and high-cost colloidal synthesis, poor stability, and unsatisfactory green emission wavelength. Here we report a simple and effective strategy that generates encapsulated CsPbX3@cyanuric acid (CA) super-particles (SPs) to overcome these obstacles. Because of the improved light conversion efficiency and suppressed reabsorption losses, these SPs exhibit excellent optical properties with high photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) of ∼90% and PL emission located at 525 nm, satisfying the high-standard benchmark Rec. 2020. Moreover, CA can greatly protect the perovskite NCs from environmental stimuli due to the trap-free bandgap of the perovskite and increased defect formation energy. By employing perovskite SPs in the display, a wide color gamut covering 94% of Rec. 2020 can be realized. This work enriches the family of perovskite NCs for high-quality displays, which will contribute to the prosperity of perovskite in the near future.
