Understanding the nature and location of hydroxyl groups on hydrated titania nanoparticles

Our work studies hydroxylated photoactive anatase TiO₂ nanoparticles using experimental and theoretical infrared spectra. We thus provide detailed insights into the coverage-dependent distribution of hydroxyl groups and their vibrational modes.
