Effect of TRAIL Combined with Cisplatin and IFN-γ on Apoptosis of Osteosarcoma Cells

Objective:To investigate the influence of tumor necrosis factor related apoptosis inducing ligand(TRAIL) combined with cisplatin(DDP) and IFN-γ on the proliferation and apoptosis of osteosarcoma cell MG-63.Methods:MTT assay was used to evaluate the cytotoxic effect on MG-63.Flow cytometric analyses were performed to detect apoptosis rates.Results:The combined therapy induced significantly higher apoptosis and cytotoxicity than TRAIL,DDP or IFN-γ alone(P0.05).Conclusion:The combination of TRAIL,cisplatin and IFN-γ could significantly increase cytotoxic and apoptosis effect on MG-63.
