Progress in Chitosan Pervaporation Membranes

In this paper, the progress of chitosan pervaporation membranes in recent years is reviewed. Their applications in the pervaporation membrane are introduced, especially for dehydration and organic-organic liquids separation. The preparation technique and pervaporation characteristic of the membrane are also mentioned. Moreover, the existent problems of chitosan pervaporation membrane and its challenges and opportunities are discussed.
