Determination of Sulfur Compounds in Ambient Air by GC/MS

Sulfureted hydrogen,methanthiol,dimethyl sulfide,carbon disulfide,dimethyl disulfide and thiofuran in ambient air were determined by GC/MS with a trap concentrator.The influence of materials about sampling containers was discussed.Results showed good linearity of method was obtained.Detection limits of 6 kinds of sulfides were between 1.0 μg/m3 and 5.0 μg/m3.RSD of parallel samples of mixed standard gases was≤8.1%.Spiked recoveries of samples were between 93.5% and 97.3%.
