Determination of Tetraethyl Orthosilicate by Capillary Column Gas Chromatography

Objective: To establish a method for the determination of tetraethyl orthosilicate with capillary column gas chromatography.Methods: Selecting amyl acetate as an internal standard,using HP-5 capillary column gas chromatography with FID detector to determine tetraethyl orthosilicate.Results: A better linear relation was found between the peak area and the concentration of tetraethyl orthosilicate,r=0.9999,the precision was well,the recovery was 99.1%~101.2%.Conclusion: This method for the determination of tetraethyl orthosilicate was simple,accurate and rapid.
