Research on Planning and Implementation Framework as well as Hardware Development for Tram-Train

Tram-Train is one of the convenient railway transport systems which connect urban center and its suburbs in the local cities. Recently, in Germany and neighboring countries, some cities introduced and some cities are implementing tram-train system. In this Paper, key issues for the implementation of tram-train became clear through the literature survey and interviews to three German cities, one French city and German experts in this field.
