Synthesis of [14C]‐, [13C4]‐, and [13C4, 15N2]‐ 5‐amino‐4‐iodopyrimidine

Abstract 5‐Amino‐4‐iodopyrimidine labeled with either carbon‐14 or with the stable isotopes carbon‐13 and nitrogen‐15 was prepared starting from commercially available labeled diethylmalonate and formamide.
